Initial Teacher Training
We work in close partnership with the Keele and North Staffordshire Primary SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training).
Do you or someone that you know want to train to teach? It can be an amazing career! You may have noticed some of the recent national adverts that celebrate how rewarding the job can be.
The Keele and North Staffordshire Primary SCITT (KNSTE) facilitate teacher training.
The KNSTE has built a reputation for high quality initial teacher education. Their employment and retention rates are exceptional and a testimony to their hard working and passionate staff, schools and students. Hempstalls Primary School is pleased and proud to be one of those schools. Others tell us that by working in partnership with the KNSTE we offer an Initial Teacher Education course that is 'exciting, relevant and innovative'.
KNSTE works in close partnership with over 50 schools in Staffordshire and Stoke. They now also offer and Early Years sepcialism (ages 3 - 7 years). This is in addition to the General Primary (ages 5 - 11 years) with specialism courses including Physical Education, Foreign Languages, Humanities, Science, Connected Curriculum, Mathematics and English.
